Get to know me

Hi, I'm Demi (yes, that's where Demigod came from). I'm so excited to meet you and I feel honored you are here. By the way, congratulations on whatever you're celebrating!!

I get a lot of questions so let me spill the beans.

How long have I been free lancing? Almost 8 years now. 

 

How did I get into makeup?

Well, I was one of those children who would lock themselves in the bathroom with my grandmas makeup for hours. I would also perform fashion shows in the living room on occasion. Then, I grew up and fell into believing societies assumptions about how ridiculous it was to follow your dreams and how important it was to go to college to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer. I graduated on the honor roll with a Bachelor's Degree in premedical science just in time for me to realize that though this knowledge was immensely useful, it was not my passion. I became a mother soon after and that showed me how quickly time passes and how important it was to do what you love. It truly inspired me to become my best self and chase my passions. I started pursuing my makeup career both freelancing and working for Ulta as a makeup consultant. Soon after I became certified as a MAC pro makeup artist. After a couple of years, I became really busy and decided only to work for myself. So, here we are.

Though I love my job doing makeup and I feel so lucky to be a part of so many special days, it isn't my only passion. I am also a certified life coach, consultant, podcast co-host and content creator.

I feel that all of my skills, life experience, and education make me a great person to have around on your special days. I'm not only a detail oriented perfectionist, I'm also passionate about spreading joy (& sanitizing my tools).
